The SHD series horizontal directional drilling rig is mainly used for laying and updating pipelines for water supply, gas, electricity, telecommunications, oil, natural gas, etc. under difficult excavation conditions such as crossing highways, railways, buildings, rivers, as well as downtown areas, cultural relics protection areas, crop and vegetation protection areas. Crossing diameter 150mm-2000mm, crossing length 100-2000 meters.

Powered by a specialized Cummins engine and a French Poclain motor, this HDD system features an advanced Sauer electronically controlled closed-loop system for unparalleled stability. By delivering 20% higher efficiency and 20% energy savings compared to conventional hydraulics, it offers a high-reliability, low-heat solution for demanding projects that require precise PLC-controlled operation and maximum fuel economy.

 

  • Both push-pull and rotation functions adopt the Sauer electronically controlled closed-loop system from the U.S., ensuring high efficiency, stability and reliability. The rotation is driven by a Poclain motor imported directly from France. Compared with conventional hydraulic systems, it delivers over 20% higher working efficiency, reduces system heat generation, and achieves 20% energy savings.
  • Equipped with a self-developed PLC control system, electronically controlled operating handles, a full LCD display, and a pressure protection system.
  • Powered by a Cummins engine dedicated to construction machinery, it provides robust power output.
  • The power head is equipped with a force-boosting function, delivering a maximum push-pull force of 2000kN, which guarantees reliable performance for large-scale construction projects.
  • The main frame adopts a four-link amplitude-modulated beam structure, which significantly expands the working angle range while keeping the crawler tracks grounded even at large angles, thus enhancing operational safety.
  • A wireless remote-controlled travel system ensures safety during movement and site transfer.
  • The drill pipe handling system employs a full-lifting manipulator arm mechanism, enabling quick and convenient drill pipe loading/unloading, greatly reducing labor intensity and improving work efficiency.
  • Compatible with Φ114 or Φ127×6000mm drill pipes, the machine features a compact footprint for easy site transfer.
  • Key components are selected from world-class hydraulic element manufacturers, significantly enhancing the product’s quality, performance and reliability.
  • The electrical system adopts a wire-harness design, resulting in a low failure rate and ease of maintenance.
  • The push-pull mechanism utilizes a rack-and-pinion structure, characterized by high efficiency, stable operation, and convenient repair and maintenance.
  • The crawler tracks are made of steel plates with rubber pads, enabling high load-bearing capacity while ensuring smooth travel on various road conditions, facilitating urban transportation.
